Laser SurgeryThe Department of Dermatology offers several laser treatment options: The Pulse Dye Laser is effective for the removal of red areas: congenital port wine stains, angiomas, facial dilated bloods vessels and redness of rosacea. The KTP Laser is effective for the removal of small dilated blood vessels and small angiomas. The Nd YAG Laser is effective for the removal of "liver" spots and some tattoos.
